Jeff is one of London’s leading yoga teachers and currently trains yoga teachers on Triyoga’s teacher training course. He is fully insured with British Wheel of Yoga accreditation and 500 hour Yoga Alliance certification. He teaches yoga classes at a number of venues including London’s top 2 yoga centres – Triyoga in Camden, Chelsea and Soho branches and The Life Centre in Notting Hill, as well as in the Bucks and Berks area where he has recently moved. He is inspiring and popular as a teacher because of his passion and unique style which emphasizes the true spirit and philosophy behind yoga. Strong but soft, dynamic yet meditative – there is an emphasis on right and skilful action to bring inner peace, balance and harmony. He enjoys being creative and experimental with his teaching working with a variety of themes, ideas, different sequences and a range of postures to help students deepen their practice and understanding. Classes have a meditative quality – learning to be present, not on ‘automatic pilot’, so that we can practice being as fully alive as possible in each moment in everyday life – not just on the mat. Yoga and meditation has been a constant part of his life for the past 18 years and he has been teaching for over 13 with the main influences on his yoga teaching style being the emphasis on breath and movement of Vinyasa flow, the precision and alignment of Iyengar, the heart orientated grace of Anusara, the individualized aspect of Viniyoga, and the traditional philosophy and spirituality of the Jivamukti and Satyananda schools. He has studied with many of the world’s leading yoga teachers doing workshops, retreats and trainings with the likes of Shiva Rae, Donna Farhi, Godfrey Devereaux, Sarah Powers, Adhil Palkhivalha, Richard Freeman, Tias Little, Alaric Newcombe and Rod Stryker. He holds Life Centre level II and Sivananda teaching qualifications and owes much to his apprenticeship with Simon Low.
